When is the best time to make reservations?

It is possible to make reservations approximately 11 months before departure. It varies from airline to airline. During the busy seasons like summer holidays and Christmas holidays, flights tend to be busy.

How can I find the cheapest ticket?

Our online booking system will provide the lowest fares. From time to time, airlines offer special deals for travel during peak season and these are posted on our website. Please check regularly to get the best deal.

What will my baggage allowance be?

Baggage allowance varies depending on the airline, the route and the type of ticket you purchase. General baggage allowance rules are published on the airline’s website. From time to time Philippine Islands Connections may have fares between UK and the Philippines where the baggage allowance is more that the airline’s standard allowance. This will be shown in your Electronic Ticket Receipt.

Online flight check-in?

Online check- in varies from 24 to 48 hours before departure depending on yourairline. You will need your airline confirmation code for your itinerary when you check-in. Depending on your airline, after checking- in online, you may be able to print your boarding pass, or save it on your phone or pick up your boarding pass from one of the kiosks at the airport.


Do I need to reconfirm my flight after I have booked my ticket? There is no need to reconfirm your flight once tickets have been issued. It is recommended that you leave your contact number and your email address with us, just in case there is the need to contact you.


When is the best time to make reservations?

It is best to make reservations once you have decided your dates. Some tours operate on particular days of the week, and although most hotels, accommodations, tours and transportation do not require early bookings, we will do our best to get confirmation where possible.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation and change of booking conditions will be stated in your confirmation as they vary depending on the hotel and tour operators.

What form of payments are accepted?

We accept online bank transfers or deposits, debit card payments, and cash if you pay at our London office.


What are the requirements for foreigners travelling to the Philippines?

a. Valid passport
b. Evidence of onward travel – for example an onward or return air ticket
c. Valid visa (if required)

Who can enter the Philippines without a visa?

Nationals from more than 150 countries including the United Kingdom can enter the Philippines without a visa. Please consult the Department of Foreign Affairs website for a full list of the countries belonging to the visa waiver program, or contact the Philippine Embassy in London.

What is the period of stay permitted for tourists travelling to the Philippines without an entry visa?

British nationals are allowed to enter the Philippines without a visa for an initial period of 30 days. You can also get a tourist visa from the Philippine Embassy before you travel, which will allow an initial 59 day stay.
You can apply to extend your stay at the offices of the Bureau of Immigration.

Do I need to purchase travel insurance?
