Boracay is a tropical island located off the northwest corner of the island of Panay and belongs to the Western Visayas island group. The island is approximately 7km long and the famous ‘White Beach’ takes up a 4km stretch of immaculate white sand. Its exceptional charm and beauty and accessibility, make it the favourite destination of choice.
Getting to the island is easy. Frequent daily flights from Manila are serviced by Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Air Philippines, Seair and Zest Air. Nearest airport is Caticlan(MPH), which takes about 30-45mins followed by a very short ride to the jetty port and 20-30mins boat/ferry transfer to the island. Alternative route is to Kalibo (KLO), 45-60mins flight from Manila, followed by a 90-minute land transfer to the jetty port.
From Hongkong, this island paradise is a mere 2-hour flight.
For years, Boracay has remained as one of the world’s best island destinations and is so rightly deserved---Boracay continues to lure visitors to its pristine beach, turquoise clear water and powder-fine sand.
